Russian alternative hip-hop artist Kai Angel expands his experimental sound with “Leopard Red,” a striking new track set to appear on his upcoming album, Shh! (Disc 2).
The song seemed officially released on Friday, September 11, 2026, although early previews and leaked versions have already begun circulating online. “Leopard Red” lands as the 7th track on the 14-song project, positioned between “having fun” and “sting.”
Sonically, the record continues Kai Angel’s adventurous approach to alternative rap, drawing from the avant-garde aesthetic associated with the Viperr movement he has developed alongside frequent collaborator 9mice.
“Leopard Red” also fits naturally into the wider atmosphere of Shh! (Disc 2), where Kai Angel pushes experimental hip-hop through bold production choices and fast-paced vocal performances. The project further reflects the artistic direction heard across songs such as “STFU!” and “does it hurt?”
Kai Angel, whose real name is Dmitri Itskov, is credited as the sole writer of the track, with global distribution handled by Believe.
As anticipation builds around Shh! (Disc 2), “Leopard Red” offers another glimpse into Kai Angel’s distinctive approach to modern alternative rap and the unconventional sound that continues to define his work.
Listen to “Leopard Red” by Kai Angel and stay tuned for the official release of Shh! (Disc 2).
