A classic from Fally Ipupa’s early solo years gets a new lease of life with the remastered version of “Orgasy.”
First released in 2006 on his debut solo album, Droit Chemin, the Congolese rumba favourite returns nearly two decades later as part of his 20th-anniversary celebration.
The refreshed version arrived on September 18, 2026, alongside Fally’s expansive **51-track double album, XX : Délirium. At 7 minutes and 4 seconds, “Orgasy” preserves the extended format associated with Congolese rumba while revisiting a song that has remained an important part of the singer’s catalogue.
Dedicated to Edo Mopatas, the record takes a sensual and romantic approach to love. Fally describes the overwhelming effect of deep affection through expressive lyrics, including the memorable phrase “prise de finition,” translated as “finishing touch,” to portray a feeling so powerful that it can leave someone completely spellbound.
The inclusion of “Orgasy” on XX : Délirium gives the anniversary project a direct connection to Fally Ipupa’s beginnings as a solo artist, bringing a celebrated 2006 recording into a new chapter of his career.
