SB Live brings that spirit to life on “Arakunrin,” an uplifting release that combines contemporary gospel themes with the lively character of Afro-highlife.

Released in July 2026 under the SB Live Band label, the song serves as part of the build-up to the Nigerian singer, songwriter, and highlife-gospel instrumentalist’s highly anticipated Only God album. SB Live, also known as Seun Bankole, uses the record to present a message centred on freedom, gratitude, redemption, and divine deliverance.

The Yoruba title “Arakunrin” translates to “Gentleman” or “Sir,” giving the song a welcoming identity that speaks broadly to listeners. Rather than limiting its message to a particular age group, SB Live creates a worship record designed to connect with both young and older audiences.

Musically, the track carries a danceable Afro-highlife feel while maintaining its gospel foundation. Its lyrics point to a personal testimony of salvation and freedom.
