Medikal – Sika Ft. Shatta Wale

A Ghanaian rap heavyweight, Medikal, joins forces with dancehall star Shatta Wale for their latest collaboration, “Sika.”

Released on October 2, 2026, the energetic track brings two of Ghana’s recognizable voices together for a record centred on ambition, money, and the drive to achieve more.

The title “Sika,” which means “money” in Twi/Akan, sets the direction for the song. Medikal approaches the record with his confident rap style, while Shatta Wale adds his unmistakable dancehall energy, creating a lively exchange between Ghanaian hip-hop and contemporary Afrobeats sounds.

Production comes from Atown TSB, who previously worked with Medikal and Shatta Wale on their 2025 award-winning track “Shoulder.” Their latest collaboration continues the musical connection between the two artists while giving them a fresh backdrop to explore familiar themes of financial success and the everyday hustle.

“Sika” arrives as another high-profile Ghanaian music release, combining Medikal’s sharp delivery with Shatta Wale’s charismatic presence.
