Biafra – I Am A Biafra

“I Am Biafra,” also listed as “I AM BIFRA,” is an extended folk and cultural recording by the project Biafra, released on October 8, 2023, through Best Highlife Music.

The release runs for approximately 34 minutes and appears as the sole track on the album of the same name. Instead of a collection of separate songs, the project presents one continuous recording from beginning to end.

Its central focus is Igbo heritage, cultural identity, and the Biafran experience, reflected directly in the title and presentation. The extended format allows these themes to remain at the heart of the recording throughout its runtime.

With its single-track structure and cultural focus, “I Am Biafra” offers a listening experience that differs from a conventional short-form release.
