Mavin Records singer and songwriter Lovn opens a new chapter with his debut studio project, SOUNDBENDER, released on September 25vOC, 2026. The nine-track EP introduces the creative direction behind his artistry while giving him room to explore different sides of his sound.
Across the project, Lovn moves through contemporary Afrobeats and Afrofusion, drawing inspiration from traditional Nigerian styles such as Fuji and Apala. The songs also touch on themes of love, independence, self-worth, financial survival, ambition, and the desire to build a better life.
Guest appearances from Ayanfe, Amaeya, L.A.X, and Terry Apala bring additional voices to the project, while Lovn handles the remaining records on his own. From the relationship-focused “BABY” and the vulnerable “DON’T LEAVE ME” to the confidence-driven “OMO TI O COMMON II,” the EP presents different moods without losing its Nigerian musical identity.
