Nigerian street-pop continues to evolve with Lil Frosh adding another project to the conversation through NOW OR NEVER, an eight-track EP that gives listeners a compact showcase of his sound, energy, and creative direction.
The project opens with “Wait & Get,” setting the pace before Lil Frosh moves into “Halleluyah” featuring rising Nigerian act Wizka. From there, “How Well” and “Atomic Bomb” keep the momentum going, bringing different textures into the first half of the project.
Lil Frosh switches things up on “Rhythm,” which features Nigerian singer and songwriter Islambo. The collaboration adds another vocal presence to the project while maintaining the energetic character running through the EP.
The second half begins with “Built Different,” followed by “Oskro,” before the project reaches its conclusion with “Closing Time.” Across the eight tracks, Lil Frosh keeps the focus on accessible melodies, energetic performances, and a sound designed to connect with his audience.
