A legendary British music sensation, Skepta, has officially released his highly anticipated sixth studio album, The Fork and Knife, marking his first solo full-length project in seven years. The album arrived on November 6, 2026, through Big Smoke/Epic Records, following his 2019 album Ignorance Is Bliss.

The Fork and Knife presents a deeper side of Skepta while maintaining the high-energy character that has defined much of his career. The project explores themes surrounding identity, immigration, masculinity, and his experience as the British son of Nigerian immigrants. Its visual and cultural perspective also draws connections between Nigerian-British life, Windrush history, and modern London.

Musically, Skepta moves beyond traditional grime, incorporating influences from garage, house, jungle, rave, and electronic music to create a broader soundscape. The album’s rollout began with “Innocent Smile,” featuring Chase & Status and Suggs, introducing listeners to the project’s cross-genre direction.

With The Fork and Knife, Skepta opens a new chapter in his catalogue, combining his UK rap roots with personal stories and a wider exploration of British and Nigerian cultural identity.
