Vulnerability takes the lead on oSHAMO’s “For Your Tears,” a new Afro-fusion collaboration featuring singer and wordsmith Shiloh Yodellé. Released on September 25, 2026, the record follows their previous collaboration, “Stars Misaligned,” and continues the musical connection between the two artists.
Built around vulnerable melodies and acoustic warmth, “For Your Tears” takes a softer route than the percussion-heavy sound often associated with contemporary Afrofusion. The production leaves room for both performers to express the song’s heartbreak-driven message, with oSHAMO and Shiloh Yodellé complementing each other through their vocal delivery.
Released under emPawa Africa, the track arrives as oSHAMO’s second official release of 2026, following “Shina Rampe.” He has also remained active through a guest appearance on “OGA,” a collaboration with Shoday from Pheelz’s collaborative EP.
“For Your Tears” shows another side of oSHAMO’s artistry, placing songwriting and vocal expression ahead of a club-focused approach. Shiloh Yodellé’s contribution further strengthens the intimate character of the record, making the collaboration feel like a natural continuation of their creative partnership.
