East African DJs DJ Mecky Tz, popularly known as The Ceremony Master, and DJ Alfa Tz have joined forces for “Amapiano Mix Vol 1,” a new street-focused mixtape released on September 15, 2026.
Running for over an hour, the mix brings together a wide selection of Amapiano sounds, combining South African influences with vocals and records familiar to listeners across Tanzania and the wider African music scene.
The lineup features music associated with names such as Scott Maphuma, Diamond Platnumz, Mukololo, Chino Kidd, Eemoh, and A.I., giving the session a broad mix of voices and sounds. DJ Mecky Tz and DJ Alfa Tz keep the energy moving through continuous transitions and mashups designed for extended listening.
The new release also builds on the DJs’ previous mix sessions, including their Session 8 and Session 10 projects, which helped establish their approach to energetic Amapiano selections and party-ready transitions.
