South African producer and artist Mordecai returns with a soulful Amapiano release titled “Cabanga Nje,” bringing JayJayy and NTK101 along for the ride.
The much-anticipated track, which had already generated interest through social media teasers, officially arrived on September 11, 2026, through Rapture Music Group.
“Cabanga Nje” leans into a smooth Amapiano sound, pairing deep log drums with jazzy chords and expressive vocals. Mordecai’s production gives the record a warm and laid-back feel, while JayJayy and NTK101 add their own presence to the collaborative performance.
The release also continues a strong working relationship between the artists. Mordecai and JayJayy have previously joined forces on “Di Kgomo,” while NTK101 appeared on “Sunset in SophiaTown,” a track from Mordecai’s Blondecai project. Their latest collaboration brings those connections together once again in a polished Amapiano offering.
